Kelowna Recap: A Day of Learning and Connection

Last week solar installers from across British Columbia gathered at the Fairfield by Marriott Kelowna for a full day of technical training hosted by our distributor partner, Charge Solar, in collaboration with APsystems and Pytes Battery. The training featured APsystems’ ELS-11.4k storage solution, paired with Pytes batteries. Two packed sessions brought together 23 installers eager to expand their skills and connect with technical experts from both APsystems and Pytes.

Following the training, attendees gathered at Cactus Club Cafe for a laid-back pub night filled with food, drinks, and great conversations. The energy and engagement throughout the day were incredible — thank you to everyone who joined us, especially those who traveled long distances to be there!

And of course, we had some fun with giveaways — headphones, a Yeti cooler, tool bags, t-shirts, water bottles, and more went home with some lucky winners.

Training Sessions:
Join us for a day of training with APsystems and Pytes battery. We’ll be running a full training course featuring our DS3, QT2, and our APstorage, using Pytes battery. Both technical teams will be there to facilitate full training sessions. We’ll be running two trainings, one morning and one afternoon. Space is limited to 16 people per session. We ask all our guests to register for our training.

Pub Night:
After the training, unwind with us at Cactus Club Cafe for a casual pub night!

Next-gen multi-module microinverters to reduce installation costs

chrisLearn the ins and outs of multi-module microinverters, including the YC600 2:1 and new QS1 4:1 microinverter and how they can be used together to reduce installation time and costs. This session at the annual NABCEP Continuing Education Conference will include installation tips and best practices using APsystems inverters to minimize time and issues at the site and maximize installer efficiency.

Chris Barrett brings more than 20 years’ experience in the solar and semiconductor industries. He previously held positions with Brooks Automation, Netmercury, Ferrotec, and SolarBridge Technologies. At APsystems, Chris oversees U.S. technical support and training. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering with business management from Keene State University, and an Associate of Science degree in electromechanical drafting and design technology from New Hampshire Technical College.
