Before APsystems microinverters power your system, Before APsystems microinverters power your system, they pass multiple rounds of rigorous testing.

🌦️ Cold. Heat. Water. Salt spray.

Laboratory testing verified stable operation of APsystems microinverters across temperatures from −40°F to 149°F (−40°C to 65°C). IP67 water protection remained effective after one hour of immersion at a depth of approximately 3.3 feet (1 meter), while corrosion resistance testing further verified performance in demanding salt-spray environments.

For installers, partners, and project customers, long-term confidence begins with evidence. Here, that evidence comes test by test, across the conditions that shape real-world performance.

A solar project years in the making is now helping A solar project years in the making is now helping the Ronald McDonald House of Southern Colorado reduce its electric costs by nearly two-thirds.

Planning began in November 2023, and after an incredible community effort, the $300,000 project was completed in June 2026. The system includes 196 solar panels, two inverters and 108 APsystems rapid shutdown devices, with every component and service made possible through donated products, labor, materials and funding.

APsystems was honored to contribute rapid shutdown devices to help support a safe and reliable installation. Most importantly, the energy savings will allow Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado to redirect more resources toward the families it serves.

Solar can do more than run a building. It can help power a community.

Project Showcase | 24.3 kW Vancouver Residential S Project Showcase | 24.3 kW Vancouver Residential Solar System

☀ This 24.3 kW metal-roof solar system was designed for a high-energy-use Vancouver home with frequent guests, helping reduce monthly electricity costs. The system pairs APsystems DS3 microinverters with LONGi 450W solar modules.

⚙ The home’s multi-orientation roof benefits from the DS3’s module-level MPPT, allowing each module to operate independently at its optimal power point to help minimize mismatch losses and maximize overall energy production. Because the compact DS3 microinverters are installed behind the modules, no dedicated indoor inverter space is required, making the system well suited for homes with limited interior space.

💡 With a 25-year warranty, module-level rapid shutdown and real-time monitoring, the DS3 provides a reliable, flexible solution for residential solar installations.

🎙️Episode 22 featuring Jesse Channel and Hattie Ha 🎙️Episode 22 featuring Jesse Channel and Hattie Haffner of Southsound Solar is live from RE+!

In this episode, Teddy sits down with Jesse and Hattie to talk about Southsound Solar’s history, their experience serving customers throughout Washington’s South Sound region, and their long-standing relationship with APsystems.

Jesse reflects on nearly 14 years with the company and the many changes he has seen across the solar industry, including the evolution of APsystems technology from some of the earliest inverter generations to today’s microinverters and monitoring platforms.

One of the biggest takeaways from the episode? Building a strong reputation comes down to doing good work and taking care of customers. Jesse and Hattie share how that approach has helped Southsound Solar grow while continuing to serve homeowners across Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, Pierce, and Lewis counties.
