The Next Solar Energy flag-Shaped Array
The Louisiana-based company The Next Solar Energy, led by CEO Roger Timoteo, was named the Commercial category winner in the 2024 APsystems USA Installation Awards for a striking solar project designed in the shape of the American flag. “This project is a symbol of sustainability and patriotism,” Timoteo said. “It represents our commitment to innovation and the values we share with the communities we serve.” Combining bold design with high-performance energy output, the installation demonstrated how creativity and efficiency can scale clean energy while making a statement of local pride.
To power the array, The Next Solar Energy chose APsystems DS3 microinverters for their reliability, flexibility, and ease of installation. “Among others: ease of installation and time efficiency, these two features are extremely helpful for our planning and logistics team, especially for installs that need to be completed quickly,” Timoteo noted. Despite some initial connectivity challenges, APsystems support helped the team overcome obstacles, and real-time monitoring tools provided transparency that was “overwhelmingly positive” for the community. “As a large company with multiple successfully installed APsystems projects, we continue to see value in both their product and their people,” Timoteo added. The project not only generates clean energy but also stands as a testament to how technical excellence and creative vision can go hand-in-hand to build a sustainable future.
